Boxer Spare finishing off..
Final touch on the door mounted spare wheel.

Was thinking about security for the spare wheel, under the van it is out of sight so theft is less of an issue. Mounted on the door it is a bit more of an invitation sadly.
We thought about locking wheel nuts, which can still be added, also a strap around the wheel and frame but the final idea was this..
Two flat plates welded to M12 nuts and a hole in the end, each plate is threaded on to the 2 studs holding the wheel on behind the actual fixing nuts, a padlock can then be put through the hole and locked. Whilst this can be removed by someone with a little determination it will slow them down considerably which is all we can hope for these days.
