Defender project...
The Defender chassis has arrived, Meo was in having a play, JK Towers has gone live and a mower...

A lot of spanner work and a bit of welding on the Defender project has begun. The rear axle was in a poor state so has been repaired and painted, some new bushes and shocks etc and it's bolted in. Front axle cleaned and painted, fuel tank, steering box etc all ready so hopefuly will be rolling again in the next day or so..
We had a mower deck dropped in this week as a bit of a side project, I didnt realise how expensive these things were! I've stripped it down and looked at what's left, chatted to the customer and they've said go ahead so some 2mm steel has been ordered as my stock wasn't enough.
Meo decided to come and have a play at tin bashing again, she enjoyed the Christmas day experience so this time she has decided flowers are the order of the day. A little bit of diection from myself and she's off :)
And.. If we wern't busy enough www.jktowers.co.uk has gone live again and orders are starting to come in, keeping up with messages is prooving to be a challenge but with a little prodding from meo we are getting there :)
